I've loved making things since childhood, and fabric has always been my most favorite medium. In the mid-80's, as a young mother of two, I became proficient at appliqueing clothing for my children, and that skill launched my first creative business. Thirty-something years later, I'm now a retired retailer (I owned a store in Steamboat Springs, CO called Moose Mountain Trading Company for 21 years) and things have gone full circle for me. I have more time now to spend at home with my two beloved Westies and my sewing machine! I've recaptured and refined my old design abilities, and I still get such pleasure making special things for special people. I started selling my jackets and dog bandanas at the Steamboat Farmers Market but family and life took me to Washington State, where I now love doing markets in and around Seattle.
